The Broken Cycle: Don’t Waste Time + Money Re-Investing!

By | Advice + Tips, Fan Engagement | No Comments

Am I trying to disrupt the adult entertainment industry? You bet I am! Why? Because like the music industry, the adult entertainment world is stuck in the same broken cycle. This “cycle” should sound very familiar to you, a studio or performer releases an epic movie or scene and they/she rely on spending countless hours promoting it on social media, the studio may even spend money on ad space. It’s a month or two later and the studio/performer are about to release another great scene or movie and it’s time to alert everyone again. What’s the drill? REPEAT. Spend countless…

PayPal Launches PayPal.Me

By | Advice + Tips | No Comments

Today PayPal is launching a new peer-to-peer payment platform called PayPal.Me. Now PayPal customers will be able to setup their own profiles which include a customized URL (i.e. paypal.me/Anthony), which can be then shared via text, email, on instant messenger, social media or anywhere else as a way to request money. This is not the first peer-to-peer payment space of course. Aside from Venmo, a mobile app owned by PayPal, PayPal.Me is very similar, if not identical to Squarespace’s Square Cash. Both platforms allow you to send funds using a customized hashtag, or cashtag in this case. Either way both services allow you to do things like pay back…

Invest In Fan Engagement

By | Fan Engagement, Social Network | No Comments

Ever since the likes of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube have launched, social media has become the place for performers to build and engage their fan base. This has become the most efficient way to get exposure: performers technically “rent” their spot on a social network, just like a small clothing store would rent a space in the mall to take advantage of the exposure and heavy foot traffic. As “brand pages” grew on social sites such as Facebook, they tracked volume metrics such as how many “likes” or how many “followers”, as well as the ability to have their…

Facebook: Profiles vs. Pages

By | Social Network | No Comments

We recently met a nice model who decided it was time to create a presence for herself on Facebook. We happened to catch her Tweet asking for fans to come join her new Facebook page, so naturally being fans of hers we followed the link. Only problem was we noticed she created a Facebook “profile” not a Facebook “page”. What’s the difference you ask? We would be glad to explain! Now for those that know the difference you might find this post boring, but for those of you that don’t know, just know there is a distinct difference between a…

Welcome To Blond Panda!

By | Company News | No Comments

After my contract ended with Adam & Eve a little over a year ago, I sat down and contemplated how I could independently manage my entire career by engaging and selling directly to my fan base. Unfortunately I was stuck like everyone else relying on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to reach out to my fans, which was fine but I started to realize that I have no idea out of all of my followers which ones were actually supporting me. As a brand this was a problem. Around that time I happened to link up with my new Digital Marketing…
